A new school year has started and a very special day is coming soon. January 19. The 200th birthday of Edgar Allan Poe.

I have worked on a few things for the event. Hopefully I'll be posting soon so more can at least think about the day. Which I must smile and say I will not be alone in celebrating. The Edgar Allan Poe Society of Baltimore will be having a bicentennial on the 17th and 18th, not to mention throughout the entire year also.

But others around the world/country will celebrate as well. Though, the most creative celebration I have learned of yet is receiving a tattoo of a raven on the day.

I of course will be celebrating in a less painful way with my beautiful glasses and drink, along with my copy of complete Poe Works. I really wish I had the leather version, it would seem more fitting at this time. But I'll be made up all prettily like a doll. (maybe a bit of Goth Lolli)

In Loving Memory of Edgar Allan Poe
~January 19, 1809-October 7, 1849 ~

October has come at last as I enjoy the horror movies that are on. All pointing to the 31st. Though, October also brings memories of things that have once was but now have passed. Poe, Chopin, and Price are my thoughts. As I realized while reading Chopin's bio, he died ten days after Poe.....weird. Perhaps he was part of the threes curse, that celebrities and famous people follow. But til next time, I bid you adieu.

It's February 14 now. Yeah, St Valentine's Day...the time for and and . Not to mention lots of bedroom tango and aussie kissing.

If you know what I mean mate.

Enough of that already. We're in the middle of the month now and school is still going slow! It always takes over, I'm telling you. But fortunately I graduate in May. Yeah! Not to mention a few birthdays are coming up now. Maybe I'll see one of them, but I highly doubt they'll leave the Promise Land to come back to our little country circle. I can imagine, but not hoping.

Also with February came the new Coffee Shop and Bakery a couple of blocks from me. Which Alex, Luna and Ruka should come with me to when they open up if not already. Hard to read the damn sign. grrr.... I hope they have ham and cheese stuffed croissants there. Oh my gosh those are soooo good!

yay!! I finally got rid of those damn projects. Be finished with the 5th one on Monday. Geez, what the hell was so wrong with them teaching these classes year round? Stuuuupiiiiid!!!!

Well now I can have more me time. To the best of my ability anyway. All this intense crap floatin around here. I swear. Like to stick my sperm donor in the nearest hole, so he'll stop irritating people. Bloody Hell! I need to find a job or join that program and go to Japan. Sweet escape. Even if only for a year. But I wouldn't mind being a teacher's assistant. Helping teach kids English. So cute!!! But watch me get middle schoolers if I can ever do it. But I do like the concept. Though, I'm shy as hell. Bwaom! Sucks like freakin hell. I don't want to be on my own, but it may turn out that way. But i like little kids, so I think I'd do better with them.

Hey, maybe I should become a history or art teacher for primary kids.

I hate sinus headaches and everything. Ehhh....Felt so bad today, I had to leave class early. Well it's almost time for Thanksgiving, as class is almost over. Yay! But that damn project is coming up closer now. Grrr... I need to add my pictures I just did. Probably add my logo in a week or two.... Ah, feel a little better....
